My name is Mildred, I'm Mexican by birth but I consider myself more of a world citizen. I left my birth country around 15 years ago. I love travelling and know about different cultures and people. I've I have lived in Spain, the UK, Germany and now Belgium.
I'm Momentarily based in Belgium, that became my “HOME” because I married a wonderful Belgium man, that happen to be also a Diplomat.
I became a trailing spouse in 2012, which has been a great challenge, but at the same time, it gives you many opportunities to break through and look for new horizons, new ideas and rebrand yourself constantly.
Also, I'm a happy mother of two lovely girls who are my inspiration and motive.
I'm a Designer, a Photographer, a crafter that loves sewing, watercolour painting, needle felting and a couple of years ago I came across with Mixed Media Art, which has become my favourite way of expression. I enjoy using different technics a different material in one artwork. As well using the analogue part combined with the digital because you can get so interesting results.
I am basically an “Idea Factory” and this is exactly the reason for creating this space. A place where I can shear my ideas, my creations and all that I do.
The idea of MiNuTo come from the 2 first letters of my full name (MIldred NUnez TOrres), (Minuto=Minute in Spanish) but also represent my beliefs because I'm the kind of person who enjoys every “minute” of the day the beauty of the smallest things, a sunset, the leaves of the trees, the sunlight, the smiles of people as they pass by.
